Our first water feature utilizing the Aquascape System. This installation was completed in 1996 and was a large improvement over its previous version.
This Feature takes advantage of a steep backyard hill to form a tall falls connected to the pond by a stream. The water feature adds to the enjoyment of both the deck and the patio. This project incorporates a waterfall, two pools, and a small stone bridge.
This water feature almost designed itself. The hillside offered views from all the rooms in the back of the house as well as from an intimate brick patio at the bottom. Next to the brick patio was an excellent location for the pond.
This lake, with its whimsical statuary and fountains, was existing when we were called in to solve several problems. The lake itself had both floating and string algae problems, and the overflow area from the lake needed a permanent solution. The algae problem was addressed with water plants, water falls and the use of beneficial bacteria to reduce the sludge which had formed on the bottom of the lake. The overflow problem was handled by the addition of a self-contained water feature which could also handle excess water when it overflowed from the lake.
Using saw cut limestone, we created a water feature that utilized the existing brick wall as its back drop.
This customer had an existing water feature without a skimmer or falls box. In addition to adding those water feature elements, they wanted us to add a patio across the back of their house. Since the ground falls away from the house, a retaining wall was needed so the patio and water feature could be brought up to grade. The falls is only 1' higher than the pond.
