For this project we had to build a retaining wall to support the downhill side of the pond. The water feature, entirely 2' in depth, was designed to fit the curve of the patio. The falls is minimal in height but fits in with its surrounding, and for those sitting on the patio the sound is at just the right level.

The falls box is in the foreground with water hyacinths growing in it. The skimmer is at the far end, but all that is visible of it is the faux stone lid. Except for its rather rectangular shape, the faux stone blends well with other stone.
